半球状的笼子里有莺、燕、孔雀等观赏性飞禽，又地处峡谷中，因此得名“莺燕峡谷”。笼子以钢筋经纬相连作骨架，中心以一根柱子作为支撑，用网覆盖球体表面，中心支柱高10米，底面半径12米，路过此地，不妨驻足倾听，幽静的山谷中不时飘来一两声悦耳的鸟鸣声，感觉无比惬意，让您亲身领会“月出山鸟，时鸣春涧中”的幽静的意境。
